Game On!

2 Drink Minimum's 2006 Season kicked off last night with a slaughter. Yes, the Insliders beat the Hell out of us. We accused them of juicing. In an email exchange with the other captain this morning, he said, "Was it obvious that I made steroids mandatory for my squad in the off-season?" HA!

A good time was had by all. Our 2006 intern, Kate, is one of the best we've ever had. Kate, can you go sit by yourself for 3 hours on the Mall and hold a location for us? Yes! By the way, it might downpour for a few minutes, that's ok, right? Yes!

There was almost a Russell/Russell double play. I snagged a line drive, but over threw to first where my brother was playing.

The new players meshed well with the veterans. The off the field game was played at the Lounge after. Just after one game, the stories have started. "As the Softball Turns" is back!
